Substitute Teachers
Dustin from Canada writes about a day when he had a substitute teacher. My teacher, Mme Dieu, travelled to New Zealand, and I had a subsitute teacher, Karen. She was very cool. I liked her , and I got sad when Mme. Dieu came back from her trip. I had the hope Mme Dieu had met an alligator in New Zeland. But tough luck!

About
A year has passed and a lot of things have changed. So I thougt I had to refresh my description.
I’m now 16 and I still live in São Paulo, Brazil. I was born in Brazil and haved lived here since I was born. For you to understand me better, let me tell you about my favorite things: Favorite band: I love Rock and Hip Hop. I like U2, AudioSlave, Guns & Roses, as you can see by the name of the blog. I am also keen on Velvet Revolvers, AC/DC, Strokes, Hives, NOFX and Vines. I love old bands too like Beattles, Frank Zappa, Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. I can’t stand EMO’s band like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte. My favorite rappers are Eminem, Sean Paul and Kanye West. The only kind of electronic music I like is Jamiroquai.Favorite food: I like eating, but I prefer Italian food , because I’m of Italian origin. I’m very fond of Arabian food though and find that Brazilian food is excellent as well.
Favorite Sport: Water polo is what I like best. I also swim and play basketball. I’m fond of handball and I love to watch soccer on TV.
Favorite Film: I Like The Godfather, the Lord of the Rings, Scarface, Lord of War, Fats and Furious: Tokyo Drifting and Jay and Silent Bob strikes back. My favourite movie is V for Vendetta.
In my free time I like to play on the computer, go out with my friends and read an interesting book. My favorite books are the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings.

Francesco,
How could you possibly entertain such thoughts about your dear teacher
New Zealand is not a jungle and I have not seen any alligators or dangerous beasts. Imagine that there are not even snakes on the islands. A perfect place if it were not for earthquakes, volcano explosions and tsunamis. But then these only happen from time to time.
